Severski Donets, Oskol

Structure of participants of a campaign: Andrey, Victor, Evgeny, I am and Andrey's dog. The list of that took with itself, was about same, as well as in last campaign with that difference, that we have poured vodka in plastic bottles. This time we have decided to begin from upper reaches Severski Donets approximately in the middle of August. Have brought all equipment to Andrey home in the afternoon, and have shipped all on Zhiguly (car) with the small trailer in the evening and have gone. Went all night long and to hours to 5 am have landed somewhere near Savintsy (the Kharkov area, Ukraine).
We have collected kayaks, have plunged, have slightly noted arrival and have floated. Floated a place where the river does set of bends which come to an end with a rather big islet. On both coast dense wood and silence to which can take pleasure. In the first day we have floated about 30 km. By the end of day I have understood, that have a little scorched, I advise to take myself a cream for sunburn. To 5 pm have found a good place on the left coast and have stopped (somewhere beyond Ivanovka). The river in that place was not wide 10 - 15 m, on both coast wood, a current fast, water cold, but we bathed with pleasure. Small black turtles are found in those places many, they like to sit on snags, but at approach at once dive into water. Very picturesque place. We have set up camp, Victor has made a supper. There we stood one full day and 2 nights.
Morning of the 3rd day we have set out. That day we have floated the big distance (more than 40 km). On a way there were islets, creeks. After inflow Chepel Andrey has suggested to have dinner a dry ration directly in boats on oars. From the beginning this idea was pleasant to me also we were tightened a boat to a boat, have opened canned food, cut bread and have spread out this all on oars and boards, and, drifting, have eaten. Then I regretted that we have descended on coast a little - hardly to float in a kayak all the day. Then almost solidly on the right coast there were villages (Protopopovka, Zavgorodneye, Petrovskoye), floated also pioneer-camp, and on the left coast dense deciduous wood was any. Then we have floated merge to the channel Dnepr-Donbass and to 6 pm have stopped on the left coast just on a river bend, not having reached some kilometres to settlement the Chervony Shakhtyor. There we have staid 2 full days (3 nights).
Next day after a breakfast Andrey with Victor have put a seine on opposite coast. Then they went to fill up bread stocks in the next village, and I remained in camp on an economy. In the evening I helped Andrey to take out a seine, in it have got a few small fry (somewhere 6 small fishes), but we have let out it.
A day later Andrey with the your curtshaar and Victor have decided to undertake a campaign in wood on a radial route. And here there was a funny situation: I that thought, that they simply wish to walk on wood, the plot running shoes on a bare foot and has gone with them. And they took with themselves a card and on glades have decided to reach the Chervony Shakhtyor. Well, there is nothing, went with them. We went quickly, I hardly kept up with them. It is necessary to tell still, that prior to the beginning of glades meanwhile the enormous glade was a place where we have set up camp and the basic large forest, and hardly we have come into wood as have seen to the right of a footpath some holes. To hours to four days have come to settlement, there I have found out, that have rubbed standing a callosity and with some horror thought, that it is necessary to come back still back. I advise always to put on socks when go somewhere far. In settlement we have bought beer, had a drink and still took with myself some bottles and have gone back. On a return way we have caught one black turtle, it wanted to me to take it with ourselves home, and Andrey has found pair white mushrooms (to that I was surprised, after all the summer was droughty). Came back to hours to 8 pm and have seen near a hole footpath. Neglecting a card, we have thought, that already have almost come and have gone straight through a glade to the river but when have reached the river it has appeared, that we left not in that place. Was not what confidence of to what party to us to go on coast and as is far we from camp. Tried to shout, but who has not responded. In some minutes the group canoeists but who from them did not see our tent and kayaks has by floated. To come back in wood and to search for glades was rather late, ashore there were many trees broken by the river, and to go on it was difficult. Andrey has been adjusted to kindle a fire and to spend the night directly there, but Victor has decided to go on coast upstream through all this "windbreak". We tried to dissuade it, but he has told, that is almost assured, that parking not far and approximately through a floor of hour has come on 3-seater kayak. Got tired and hungry, we have returned to camp. In a quickly way something have bungled for a supper and have laid down to sleep.
In the morning we have eaten, have gathered and have floated further. The turtle should be released, as it did not eat that strove to be washed off. What my amazement when we approximately in 40 minutes floated the Chervony Shakhtyor was, on road in which I have pounded in foot blood, have lost the way and have not stayed the night nearly in wood. I have shared the sensations with the others and have told, that on an occasion at "Komsomol" I any more :) Will not follow settlement on the left coast again wood begins. For a dinner left on coast. This day we floated till the late evening and have come in a city Izyum. Tents have put directly on a beach, kayaks completely did not unload, and have simply dragged on coast. A fire to plant did not become, stinted in shop, had supper and have laid down to sleep. Had a bite with beer in the morning, have collected tents and have floated further.
We have agreed to come to Oskol, on that place which we once have already chosen (not far from station Bukino). On a way Andrey and Victor have solved to fish near one of islets, and we with Evgeny have floated further. Somewhere to 2 pm have come to Oskol, have floated slightly against a current and have decided to wait for the others. Not having waited, have sat down to have dinner. Approximately an hour later there was other kayak. They left on coast, and Andrey took one of plastic bottles from our boat and has started to drink, it is not a lot of having drunk, he has understood, that it is vodka. Further he has told, that when they have fished, one bottle of vodka "have dropped in water" and when they have caught up with us, he was tormented very much by thirst. He thought, that took a bottle with water in our kayak. Here "image that - thirst all" :) Somewhere through a floor of hour have floated further. To 5 pm were already on a place, but we were waited by small disappointment, it was Friday and we there were not one. Have stood couple of days, and on Sunday I should leave (work). Then Andrey told, that they have undertaken a night swimming from Bukino to Slavyanogorsk (now Svyatogorsk).
