This campaign has happened almost spontaneously. To swim for a while it would be desirable for a long time already and it has turned out to take holiday for 2 weeks (last week August and the first - September). But all with whom I went earlier, this time could not keep my the company. Andrey has borrowed the 3-seater a kayak. Having recollected other acquaintances Alexey and Andrey with whom I together worked earlier and which expressed desire to swim for a while on kayaks, I have thrown a call. They too took holidays, have found one more Alexey (the husband of sister Andrey that there was no mess I will name its Alexey j).

At us it was impossible to begin in August, and we have appointed start since September, 3. All but me were beginners, therefore the campaign only for one week was that than it is necessary. Have planned a route for 6 days (a card here). We have coordinated everything, that it is necessary to take and buy. The full list is more low resulted:

Kayaks 2 and 3-seater (to them small bolts with nuts, because part of fixture has become puzzled, flat-nose pliers, wrenches, glue)

We have arrived on minibus in Protopopovka. Somewhere in an hour have collected kayaks, have plunged, had a bite, have drunk cognac and hours in 12 have floated. Have floated a train of villages, near one of them have met elements of river underwater fleet of Ukraine :)

From the left coast wood hung over water. In the first day we did not plan to float too long as all still it was not habitual. Approximately to 5 pm have reached merge with Old Donets, almost to the channel Dnepr-Donbass and have stopped for the night. We have put tents, have committed follies, have dissolved a fire, have welded buckwheat and have fried a shashlik (in this campaign we did not have a super-cook, therefore cooking I and Alexey j), Andrey and Alexey tried to fishing. We have drunk for the successful beginning, had supper, were bought and have laid down to sleep.

Morning we had breakfast, have gathered and 10 am have set out. We have floated a couple of small islets, photographed turtles. We have 1 pm in the afternoon reached the Chervony Shakhtyor, descended in shop and had dinner there. Having sailed kilometre three from settlement, we have again got to the wood stretched on both coast. I already described earlier these places, it is necessary to tell, that fortunately they have not changed almost: turtles, jay, the wagtails peacefully sitting on snags, still any bright violet birdies flying over the water. On the same piece of a way to us there were natatorial small animals whom I did not see earlier, they very much resembled on mink. Later some "experts", examining photos, said, that it is a marten.

Alexey tried to fish from a kayak, but it not very much turned out. Approximately to 6 pm we have found not a bad place with a little table which was built by fishermen, have set up camp. Alexey, not losing hope, fished, Andrey practiced in shooting, and we with Alexey j made a supper. We had then supper and have laid down to sleep.

This day the strong wind blew, and it is more than half of way it was necessary to row against a wind nonstop. To 12 pm wood has ended, the train of the settlements smoothly flowing in a city Izyum has gone. We have reached a beach, left on coast, have taken a walk on shops, had dinner and have floated further. With a halt we have spent for Izyum 5 pm and as soon as wood has begun, we have found more or less pleasant place and have stopped there.

This day I was unsteady on wood in hope to find mushrooms, but there mushrooms were not, the others by turns tried to fish, Alexey managed to catch a little small red-finned fish which it has released. After a dinner we shot on plastic bottles. In the evening gentlemen drank and had a snack, and also sang songs under a guitar.

To the half seventh evening have reached almost to Bogorodichnoye, have found a quite good place, in a quickly way have set up camp, and we with Alexey j have begun to prepare pilaw. Preparation pilaw is in general a piece thin, and in marching conditions the it is more. We still had not a lot of carrot and onions, rice in the packages, recently bought chicken legs and seasonings. As we did it

Alexey j has started to fry the first party of meat. When water has boiled, have thrown hardly less than a table spoon of salt and have put 5 hundred-gramme bags of rice and cooked 10 minutes, I have cut in the meantime a carrot. Then we have removed a kettle from a fire, have merged from it a few waters so that remained less thirds, cut packages, poured out rice in a kettle, have thrown a carrot and cooking for 5 minutes. The first party of meat was already ready, have removed again a kettle, I have made a spoon some deepenings to the bottom a kettle, have poured out in it a sauce, poured out the first party of meat, have seasoned with meat and vegetable seasonings and have put near fire to reach. Alexey j fried in the meantime the second party of meat, and I have cut onions which it has fried together with 3rd party. Pilaw it has turned out excellent and we with pleasure have used all these foods under vodka.

While we were engaged in cookery, two other participants managed to find 3 ceps, but to prepare we them did not begin - to eat very much it would be desirable. In the morning we were woken by a strong thunder-storm, and 8 am has charged a downpour. Then, the truth, the sun has got out and to 12 pm it was possible to dry tents, to eat and gather. I do not remember precisely in how many we have come up, but to 3 pm were already in Svyatogorsk, for pair hours have dried boats, all have collected and in 5 have gone home to Donetsk.
